Runblind is the culmination
of many years of research!
Professor François Alouges (of Paris-Saclay, top rated engineering school) specializes in mathematics and signal processing and has spent many years working on audio algorithms. Sylvain Ferrand, co-founder completed his doctoral research on 3D sound navigation for the blind and is continuing research in this field. Together with Philippe Le Borgne, who brings many years of innovation management expertise they co-founded Runblind. Initially working to help visually impaired and blind people to easily navigate using sound and music, they developed and patented very low latency Bluetooth software that can be embedded in smart glasses and earphones. Manelli Hosseini, who specializes in technology sales and marketing joined the co-founders to speed up making the technology available to more people.
